Teachers' Day

I know I wasn't among the best behaved,
Neither was I the among the most attentive...

Nor among the most appreciative,
And definitely not among the most studious...

But for preparing me to appreciate life,
And everything in it...

From the birds in the sky,
To how the rainbow appears...

From gratitude to say 'Thank you',
To courage to speak when I should...

For the times when I haven't thanked you,
For the times when I haven't appreciated...

At this time when I look back,
I greet all my Teachers on Teachers' day...
